On the 20th April Electromech welcomed Liam Lock from Hasler Rail. Electromech were asked to perform RIA12 Surge & Transient testing on one of Hasler’s products:
Product Family: Hasler TELOC 4000
Product: Power Supply Board “POCAA”
The day was a success, and the unit passed all the tests which were required. RIA12 was superseded by EN50155, but RIA12 has more stringent requirements.
When products which are EN50155 compliant are being fitted on older rolling stock it is recommended that RIA12 testing takes place to ensure that the design is compliant to the environment it will be fitted in.
